You can even build your fence out of thatch foundations and 3 walls high (if you want to wall things off before you get the wooden fence foundation). This makes it easier to fence off the area with few resources.
If I where you I would build the first base on the southern part of the island in an elevated location with cliffs to one or more sides (preferably cliffs on three sides, so you only have one access point to fence of). I have started over on new servers several times. Its a good multi-purpose dino, witch is often found stuck on trees around the beaches (actualy often found anywhere stuck on tree's, there really loving them tree's xD). I dont know any better mounts that are "easy" to tame that do a better job at killing things and moving your things around then a trike tbh (stegos are cool to, but take longer to tame and higher level for the saddle as well).
Dilo saddle plus#
The big plus of a Trike is its carry weight, witch if you are going to explore is a almost a must have. Its not that dilo's are bad, there quite fun and when you get good level once as mentioned they are rather powerfull (even against alpha raptors if you have a good pack). Rince and repeat the process while you explore, destroy the foundations when you move on to get the same refund as replacing them and you should be lvl 15-20 before you know it.
First thing i tamed when i got the game was a trike during the free weekend event.Įver since its the first dino i tame when starting fresh because its simply the best choice even though you cant get a saddle untill level 20.Ĭraft foundations (start with thatch) and place them, if you place 2 next to each other you can replace 1 of them over and over again with a new one untill you get enough level to make wooden foundations.
